### **Product Datasheet: AISI 1035 Hot Rolled Steel Round Bars (19-32 mm / 0.75-1.25 in)**
---
#### **1. Product Overview**
AISI 1035 Hot Rolled Rounds are medium-carbon steel bars produced through a high-temperature rolling process, resulting in a characteristic black oxide surface (mill scale). This 19-32 mm (0.75-1.25 in) diameter range offers a cost-effective and versatile material solution for applications requiring good strength, toughness, and machinability. Supplied in the as-rolled condition, this product provides a favorable balance of mechanical properties for general engineering and structural applications, serving as raw material for further processing such as machining, forging, or heat treatment.
---
#### **2. Key Characteristics & Advantages**
- **Cost-Effective:** Most economical production method for steel bars
- **Good Strength & Ductility:** Balanced carbon content provides reliable mechanical properties
- **Excellent Forgeability:** Ideal as stock material for hot forging operations
- **Favorable Machinability:** Can be readily machined in annealed or as-rolled condition
- **Good Weldability:** Suitable for welding with proper procedures
- **Wide Availability:** Commonly stocked size range across global suppliers
