It is considered a versatile and highly reliable upgrade over many conventional grades, designed to deliver longer tool life, better performance under stress, and reduced risk of cracking in demanding applications. #### **1. Key Characteristics & Advantages** * **Excellent Balance of Wear Resistance & Toughness:** Optimized alloy composition provides superior wear resistance compared to standard grades like A2 or D2, while maintaining better toughness than high-carbon, high-chromium steels.
